I'm working on a plugin for TVServer and I'm not seeing recordingended events. I see recording start, timeshift start, timeshift end, etc. I don't think it's my plugin, as I tried to setup ComskipLauncher to also run a test app at the end of a recording, and it's not being called.
I usually use 4TheRecord as my scheduler, but even when I turned it off I don't see the RecordingEnded event being broadcast.
I have Mediaportal 1.1.2.
Does anyone else use this event? Is this a bug?
Okay...so I dug into the TVServer code and I think I understand. The Recording Start and End notifications are sent from the built-in scheduler. I had turned off 4TheRecord and used the manual controls in the TV configuration to test timeshifting and recording, but that's not the same as a schedule.
I guess I answered my own question. I shouldn't be the only one with this concern, though. When a different scheduler is used (e.g. 4TheRecord) the recording events aren't being fired for other plugins (e.g. Comskip Launcher).
