Recordings always start late (1 Viewer)

Synopsis::

Mediaportal starts the recording 30 seconds late from when it is suppposed to start recording. I recorded a file that was 59:30 in length. However, becaue the program started aout 33 secon late, I didn't miss the beginning of the program. This happens with all recordings I attempt. They always fail to start on time missing as much as 30 seconds of the start of a show. Even with time shifting left enabled, the recorder does not take any seconds to initilize but will still start about 30 seconds late from when it is supposed to start. I'm in the US. Anyone else having this problem? Please help. Thanks. Trying to post logs to pastebin but page currently not opening for me.

i'm not sure about this problem but in the meantime can you just not put the time to start say 1 minute earlier so then you will start 30 before the show instead?

OK thanks. I'm still trying to post the log files with no luck. I am posting both the mediaportal log and the recorer log since I feel it is nessesary to post the record log as well. I will do as you say as mediaportal is my only hope. Other programs I've tried to use are either not starting on time with no option to start early or are locking up while a recoring is taking place. Very frustraitng. Thanks for your help. I will continue to keepy on trying to post the log files to mp pasebin web site. Cehcking the recorder log file, the recorder started recording 24 seconds late which is consistant with me having a file that is 59:36 Edited to show attempt at latest test record. Still having trouble with sending log files page takes a bit long to load and posting the log files just result in the sending the log file to time out with a page cannot be displayed message. Where else can I post log files? Thanks.
