Hello,
Some scheduled recordings fail. TV server seems to do perfect recording : I get the popups for start and stop of recordings at the scheduled time. I get the "REC" indicator all the recordings long. TV server behaves as if it were properly recording until the end. But the file created only last few minutes although the show is supposed to last more than 1 hour... This happens for 2 shows on 2 different channels. See relevant logs attached.

Any idea of where would this come from ?

Does it happen with MP 1.0.2 ?

In the 'TsWriter.log' there is only 1 recording (Frères de sang - France 2 - 2009-10-21 - 20_35.ts) , but the 'tv.log' doesn't cover the same date/time so it's hard to see what happened....

Are you recording to a local HDD or via network HDD?
Are you running the client on the server (single seat) or over the network?

Recording over a wireless network or LAN can drop connection to network resources.

I am recording to a local drive. Both TV server and client are running on the same computer.
Sorry for the logs : here is a tswriter.log corresponding to what happens every Sunday : 2 recordings which both fail (only 2 minutes of each show recorded every week).

Here is a full set of logs. Last recroding issue is Nov-08th at 10:13 for 1st recording and Nov-08th at 11:48 for 2nd recording. These 2 programs are supposed to be recorded weekly and always fail.

The logs are no use - the 'tv.log' is only for 11th Nov (and 'tv.bak' is for the 10th) so they can't be cross-referenced.

If you know these recordings always fail then capture the logs immediately after the failed recordings.

I am trying address 2 issues by posting here and I mixed logs I had saved for posting. Sorry for this.
I will wait next Sunday after my "2-minutes-recording-shows" are done to post corresponding logs set.
