Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but when I record programs they are often being saved in the TV Server Install folder, i.e. C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\Media Portal TV Server

The Timeshift buffer files are also being saved to this folder.

In TV Server setup, the Recording folder is set to R:\My Recordings and the timeshift folder is set to R:\Timeshift

However, the odd thing is that this does not seem to be constant, sometimes the recordings will save to the correct folder, and other times they will save in the TV server folder.

This is causing considerable problems, as I only have 10gb avaliable on the C:, so I am constantly running out of space and having to move recordings to the R: and have to view them through My Videos instead of through My TV.

I have attached my TsWriter.Log, with only entries for today, which clearly shows 2 recordings, one recording to the TV Server folder, and one to the R: folder.

Edit: Also, after closer examination, the 2 recordings are saving in different formats, one is saving as a TS file, the other as an MPG file. The TV Server is currently set to save as a TV File. Hope that helps!

:D

did you setup the recording folder for each tv card?
Frodo
Ahh, my bad.... hadn't even noticed that you had to set it for each card until now... I had a feeling I was missing something, but just was not sure what it was! Now I know!

Thanks Frodo, your a life saver!
