Maybe it is just a silly question but since I have a little 80Gb hard disk, sometimes to record new shows I lose older ones automatically deleted to make space for new ones....What happens if I add another HDD? where will my recordings be saved? in configuration settings you can choose how many free space to live in every partition but where do the recordings go?

now I see they are all saved in "My documents/My Recordings"

what happens if I add a new empty partition?

Ciao,
I have more than 1 hard disk in my PC; in mediaportal configuration, in TV section -> recording (or similar), should be something about paths for recording shows and timeshift.

Sorry, I don't remember exactly where are these options, because I switched to TVengine months ago. But, It's possible (at least, it was possible)

Ah ok, it's under the card tab. So, you've to edit your card, or view its properties (in configuration, of course). There's one named "recording folder".

Look:
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/MediaPortalSetup_Television

"Add/Edit capture Cards"
