RefreshRateControl Plugin? (1 Viewer)

I used to use this plugin all the time, but at some point it stopped working for me. I tried to e-mail the author but got no response.

Does anybody know anything about this thing, why it wont work, and if the sourcecode is available for improving?

One of my main desires is forcing my desktop to 50Hz whenever I enter My tv. Evidently, detecting the true framerate is harder for streaming material (at least that is what the author of Reclock states), and usually live tv will be at a fixed rate of either 50fps or 60fps for a given user (country).

Why cant I use 50Hz at all times? My lcd-tv will do 50Hz only if set to 720p (scaled and cropped). For other stuff (like watching pictures), I prefer the non-scaled, non-cropped native resolution of 1366x768@66Hz.

I see the source code is included in the zip file in the download section of the site. So someone could pick it up and run with it pretty easily.

When you say the plugin doesn't work, does it log any errors?
