Regarding recording a single TV show (1 Viewer)

Hello chaps,

I've stumbled across a little issue with MP (1.1 ALPHA), specifically with the way it differentiates between recording Movies and TV Shows.

As I understand it, if I make a 'Series' record (by going into 'Advanced Record' and choosing any option but the 'record once' one), then the recordings will go into the \TV\%title%\file.ts folder as I've specified.

However, if I want to record a TV program only once, it seems it will put it in my \Movies\file.ts folder along with all my films. Am I missing some obvious way of recording a single TV program once and having it go in my 'Series' recording folder?

I am not sure if this is your problem but it can be overlooked sometimes. If you have multiple tuners, you have to separately configure the recording folder for each. Just a thought. Although it doesn't quite sound like what you got going on there...

Thanks for your reply, but no that's not my problem.

My problem is that I can set it so that TV series go in one physical directory and for Movies to go in another, but if I do a 'record once' on a TV program it will be placed in the Movies folder (as it isn't a 'Series' record type).

I really hope I'm overlooking something here because keeping these two types separate is pretty important to me.
