Remember last used folder - Not working (1 Viewer)

1. open Setup-> Movies-> Movie Folders
2. Add two Folders A and B
3. mark Folder A as default
4. mark/unmark option "Remember last used folder"
5. start MediaPortal
6. open myVideos Folder B
7. go to Homescreen
8. open myVideos -> you will be automatically in Folder B
9. Try step 6-8 with Folder A

You will be always directed to the last used folder.
It doesn't matter if you have enabled this option in Setup or not.

Hi,
This does not happen if you didn't enable "use last folder" the first time (tested with a clean install to be sure it worked as intended), so that indicates that something isn't cleaned up on de-selecting it.
Does it also happen in My Music & My Pictures?

I was under the impression that this setting stored last used folder between program executions... While MediaPortal is up and running, the application will always remember the last visited folder when jumping between screens... (I may be wrong about this though...)

I can mark one folder as my default, and that's the one MediaPortal should always
jump to, when entering Video section.

If I enalbe "remember last used folder" MediaPortal should jump to the last used folder when entering Video section.
That was what I thoughed it's for.


Same in myPicture and myMusic, here.

MP always behaves as if "rembere last used folder" were enabled.
Even if it's not enabled and you close and restart MP you will be redirected to
the last used folder.
