To hunt this down I disabled all working cards and concentrate on the analog one (see above). With a freshly restarted server a remote client (W7 x64, if it matters) has no problems watching. Yet, the MediaPortal application that is running on the same machine shows at most a frozen image (and no sound) or reports no video/audio detected. After getting this error locally (on the sever) the client also gets it. I am at a loss.
I am hesitant to post all debug logs, but this might be of relevance (from tvserver_error.log):

I was very glad to get an analog card working at all. I feel like only a tiny thing is missing. Any help is greatly appreciated.
