Remote Config for Mediaportal!? (1 Viewer)

Hey i was wondering if an "Remote config" for mediaportal excists!?

I'm running Mediaportal on my HTPC... And does not normally have keybaord / mouse connected. But it could be cool if you remotely could change setting for mediaportal config. Ex. through an laptop on your local network...

Have you thought about remote desktop? (RDP protocol)
MP has to be shutdown to be able to config. So you can't (as far as I know) change a running config.

Or join me and my little project; some php scripts I developed that I use to edit mediaportal.xml
Could also readout dbs and stuff. It's just that I don't have the time :/ Have setup quite a lot already but everything's half done.
I can even use a webbrowser based remote to control mediaportal, sky's the limit.

I'm still willing to provide any serious developers with my source. I launched a thread about an HTPC server console a while ago, didn't get me any where
