remote help (1 Viewer)

These forums are massive, and I've done my best to search for a solution.

I using the following remote:

XP Pro running the latest version of MP

Problem is:
During playback of any media (vidoe/music) the play, pause, stop, ff, rw buttons do not work.
Only the left, right, up, or down buttons work.

Can someone please suggest something to help me out?

Did you check the "Use Microsoft MCE remote or keyboard" option in the Remote section of Mediaportal Configuration ?

yes indeed.
I've tried the mapping stuff as well... still not working.

Hi,
Please attach your mediaportal.log to your post if not anyone can't help you.....
Btw Open MediaPortal Configuration -> Remote & on the MCE enable extended logging & then start MP do some navigation close MP & attach your log.

I just switched from Microsoft to a "General HID" and now it is working.
