It's almost February, 2007. I don't have a TV-in solution yet (been using MP to play music and video only), but I am about to get one.

Looking at the MP Config, I can't tell which remote combo will be "the best". I now know I will need an IR Blaster to use with my cable box... But which remote + IR Blaster has the best support in MP? I like the price on Ebay of the MCE remote combos, but if they stink I won't waste the time...

Thanks.

I Think

I think the Hauppage PVR-150 MCE edition bundle is my #1 choice because it's got MPEG hardware and the IR blaster stuff... Or does the '250 make more sense?

Hmm...

Huappauge is a good choice as most of the devs use this hardware, so they can code for it the best.
Otherwise, my personal choice is the MCE remote. It includes the blasters, works out of the box for XP Pro and MCE and you can't beat the price.

I think the MS remotes (eHome) look and feel better than the ones Hauppauge bundles (SDK) - also thay have two blaster included.
