RemoteDesktop from Microsoft do not start MP (1 Viewer)

I have installed .net 1.0 2.0 and MediaPortal 0.2 RC2. Everuthing works fine om the hostmachine..

Want to control the MP machine thru standard Remote Desktop from standard XP. A popup tells me that DirectX and rendering is the problem.

Any solution?

Have also tried VNC .. This works but is slow..
Trying to run Mediaplayer works..
MP is the only application that do not work..
MP setup works fine

You can't run MP through Remote Desktop.....it just won't work.

VNC is the only option to control the machine remotely.

RDP doesnt support DirectX applications so you wont be able to. Games would have the same effect. Have a play with UltraVNC, it has a turbo (low accuracy though, but only effects typed text) mode which makes the menu rather acceptable in terms of speed.

I've had luck with RAdmin, which is fairly faster than TightVnc....

However, it's not a free soft... so it depends on how much you want this thing..
