I find that I record many programs and after a while MP slows down and struggles. At the moment I am having problems with no signal and this appears to be that MP is working too hard to keep up.
Anyway, I have recordings that I have watched but want to keep so I can use cleanup - delete watched recording. I want a new option that removes the entries for all of the items I have deleted. I am pretty sure that deleteing them leaves something behind. Why? because I moved the items I wanted to a movies folder so that I can access them through my movies and then ran cleanup and it took about 5 minutes to run. Now MP is running MUCH faster and responding better in menus.
There may be more to this and maybe I should look at the code myself. Anyway, advice on a work around or what I am doing wrong is also welcome
