Remove duplicate episodes? (1 Viewer)

I recently had to change the drive letter on my tv episodes drive. I pointed it to the new path but rather than update the existing entries it created new ones, so now I have two listings for each episode. Is there an easy way to clear the old entries?

    Make sure you dont have 'Keep reference to files that no longer available' enabled. Also ensure that the import path is not set to removable. These settings can keep your previous db entries which which will result in two or more entries.

    You can then run import again which will clean up references that are no longer available.

    Oh I see. Yes the drive originally was removable so I set the removable. So all thoes episodes got set with the removable flag. So it will never remove them.

    So I'll turn this into a suggestion that it would take into account if the path that the episode belongs to is removed from the importer settings. Then the episodes will be removed even if that flag is set, or perhaps prompted about whether to keep them.

    Or in the future simply adjust the path to 'fixed' before you adjust it, this will retro-active configure all the episodes then, so that they won't show up again on a re-import after a path change.

    As for fixing your current 'mess', I think the easiest is to purge entire show from within the config screen to remove both listings, and reimport fresh.

    Yes true and I will...but my suggestion was more for others who in the future may stumble upon the same thing.
