Hi,

I would like to remove some nodes from the Genres-list in MovingPictures. I have translated some nodes in Dutch and now I want to remove the English ones but I can't seem to do that. Can anyone help me out ?

Well you could find those movies that use the wrong genre, and fix them. You would do this on the Movie Manager tab.

The problem is that 'Genres' is a dynamic category, meaning the tree structure is generated automatic based on other data. In this case the 'Genre' field on the movies in your collection.

You either need to edit the Genre fields on all your movies (you can use SQL queries for this to do it quick), which will automatically update the dynamic generated tree the next time you start the plugin (this is the small delay during startup you might have noticed on a large collection), or you need to convert the category into a static one. You do this by editing the root of the tree (so the Genres entry) and go to properties and convert it.

The problem you have then is that when a new genre is added (say you add a movie that is a documentary and you did not have a documentary subgenre before), you have to manually create that one then. But by looking at your screenshot you pretty much seem to have all the possible Genre combinations already, so it shouldn't affect you much.

In the UK, the EPG transmitted in the DVB-T datastream allows each programme to have two genres -- a primary genre, and a secondary genre (i.e. a subgenre). The primary genre might be something like Film (or Movie in the USA). The secondary genre for Film might be something like: Action, Comedy, Crime, Fantasy, Romance, Science...

So, you're power cycling the TV, but not putting the PC to sleep ? In General => Startup/Resume settings, try checking "Ignore Windows resolution/size changes" In Codecs and Render, try selecting the specific audio device rather than "Default DirectSound device" Just ideas, no guarantee this will do anything. If this doesn't work, I...
