Latest SVN versions don't appear to allow removal of shutdown et al buttons from the home page.
Am I missing the option?
If not, I'll raise a bug in the 'QA/SVN' forum.
TIA,
BigJ
Greetings bigj! There is no need to bug-report this issue because the new home plugin in the SVN builds (>October) are still under development.
For now you can remove some or all topbar buttons from the home with some minor modifications to the myHome.xml file (can be found in “media portal folder/skins/name of the skin that you are using”.
Open/Edit myHome.xml with “notepad” and browse down to “<!-- TOPBAR Buttons -->” and you will find the controls for
“Back/video/basichome and exit buttons”. Use the exclude codes: “!--“ and “--“ to disable controls.
For example, here below you see the controls for the Exit/Shutdown topbutton, replace <control> with <!--control> and </control> with </control--> save and reload MP.
