Hi, well done on getting to RC1 and now to business...

I have my music view set to show icons of the artists. If I enter this view and scroll up and down through the complete list I will quite often get these errors and MP becomes unusable:

2010-02-27 13:45:59.644006 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: render exception:confused:ystem.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

    Hi,
Not seen it like this & not able to reproduce it but, tell me do you start in windowed (or maybe it doesn't matter), how many rows do you scroll before it happens & please post your system specs.

    Regards
    Roy

Looks like you have been hit with the texture manager issue. I have seen similar to happen few times per a year, so pretty hard to reproduce. How often you can reproduce the issue?

I have seen this issue before, it was with For The Record using TV Logo's... System would crash when rendering the logo's in the Recorded TV section when you would go to play some thing, it also happened on occasion while just navigated... It was the same log, this was in 1.02... Have not been able to recreate it since the !.1RC1 update..

    Interesting?

I can reproduce this just about every time.

Use the music icon view that shows the complete collection, for the logs posted I had around 500 objects viewed as small icons, I just held the down key until the error occurred.

This is on a Vista x64 6GB system. If I do the same on a XP client the memory usage just keeps going up and can go to nearly 2GB and I've gotten an error the odd time - will do a bit more testing on XP when I get a chance.
