Replacement IR emitter for blasting? (1 Viewer)

I've managed to misplace the 2 IR emitters that come with the MCE Remote. And I can't really find anyone selling them. So I was wondering if I could use the IR cable that came with my tv tuner card (technotrend 1500) its meant for receiving signal, so the question is can I use it to blast signal?
