I would like to see a seperate Meedio style Movie Library module.
Strictly Database driven, no folder browsing, where it would automatically import new movies added to a specific folder. (For Example D:\Movies).
Movies could be in individual folders all under the Movies folder and they could be split in 2 files. (Example: D:\Movies\Moviename\movienameCD1.avi and movinameCD2.avi).
We would also have the option to specify when imports occur automatically. While scanning if the folder also includes a .jpg image, it would be assigned automatically as the coverart.
In MediaPortal, choosing a movie would bring up its IMDB screen instead of playing it right away, and we could browse movies via the IMDB screen by choosing next or previous.
IMDB/Impawards searching should also have the option to store whichever coverart we choose from the search results in that movies folder and only displaying that coverart by default.
If this was possible, I would drop Meedio in a heartbeat. Its the only thing keeping me from jumping from Meedio to MediaPortal.
