Req: Idiot guide to xvid recompress (1 Viewer)

ive searched the board and come up with some scraps of information.

ive downloaded some software from elecard, in fact i ended up downloading nearly all of it and try to use it.

please can someone who has it working provide an idiot guide of how to recompress to xvid so i can have my movies etc on the go on my handheld.
