Hi,
I'd like to see the IMDB database stored in the top level of a share, rather than on a local machine.
I have all my media on a server, with multiple clients. If I need to reinstall for any reason, I have to re-import the data for each client machine. If the database was stored on the server, this would only need to be done once.
I can't see any disadvantage to doing it this way, only advantages. The TV engine now has one database used by multiple clients. This really seems like the way forward.
Although this suggestion relates to the IMDB database, it could also apply to others (music, TV series).
