Rerun/New episode flag? (1 Viewer)

MCE, BTV and Myth all are able to use the "New/Rerun" flag in the EPG data for scheduling.

Can this feature be implemented for MP?

It would allow for a much smarter recording engine. A new option(s) would be possible: Record new episodes on this (or ALL) channel.

i have to second this. i'm still in the process of building my HTPC so haven't messed around with the EPG at all yet, but if this option isn't available, i'd love to see it implemented. i'm a ReplayTV convert and really like being able to select "first run" episodes or "first run and repeats" in my recording options.

Please note it depends where the guide info comes from. I lnow that if you get the info from zap2it it will not have rerun or new episode, so there is no way for the developers to magically create that flag from air.

If you work with James to find a site (or sites depending on the nationality) that has that information then many more people would be appreciative besides yourselfs.
