Resolving standby issues - MCE Standby tool (1 Viewer)

Hi all

I had some, probably easy solvable, issues with standby and hibernate, and when I googled around for the answers I came across this tool (MCE Standby tool)

Don't know if you already have seen it, but anyway, it took care of my problems right away.

Hi MBA,

Looks promissing. But I wonder: it is written with MCE in mind; it even checks if MCE is running or not (eHome). Is it also able to check if MP is running and idling?

I don't think it matter wether mce is running or not, I'm not using that aspect of the program, I used it for setting some registry and other stuff automatically, didn't even have to install it. And now I'm able to turn on my htpc from both S1, S3 with my mce remote and my keyboard.

don't know if I'm allowed to, its not my sw, and I haven't spoken with author. Just wanted to inform you of my finding.
Maybe the author likes some traffic on his site as I can see some google-ads on it.

MCE Standby tool 0.9.75 Full support for MP

Hi, i installed MCE Standby Tool with full support for Mediaportal.
It work fine with manual standby, on resume from standby MCE Standby Tool kill Mp and restart it.

I have only a BIG problem: with MCE Standby Tool Mediaportal don't resume from standby if i scheduled a TV recorder (Powerscheduler don't work). Mp automatucally go to standby but don't resume from it.

Why??
