Okay,

Am I missing something here ? Using the Gigabyte board with every referance to S3 and USB enabled in the bios. When I try to resume MP from sleep there is nop response from the IR transceiver (no red light) hence no wakeup. Any ideas? What am I missing? Any magic setting I am without.

Thanks in advance,

Kryspy

    Hi,
Usually the usb port where the receiver it's connected need a +5v to be able to send the wakeup call to motherboard (on most boards it's port 1-2) or refer to manual for how this can be done(jumper settings if needed).

which is a bummer if you use the pci hauppage cards with their silly integrated usb controller and ir setup.
