Return to last selected movie? (1 Viewer)

Question for the MovingPictures devs: is there something special required in the skin to allow MovingPictures to return to the last selected movie in the list of movies when coming from basichome or after stopping movie playback?

With StreamedMP, when I go to MovingPictures from basichome it returns to the movie I had last played or had last selected.

With X-Factor, it just goes back to the first movie in my list, which is a little annoying. Any way to make it go back to the last movie that was played/selected?

Are you sure you were not using two different versions of the plug-in when testing? This is not something that is skin related, all skins should behave the same as far as this goes.

Moving Pictures 0.8 will have a fix for this though, after playback of a movie when you return to the plugin, if you go back to the facade the last selected movie will be selected again.

Definitely using the same version of the plugin with both skins. StreamedMP goes back to the last selected movie in the list, but X-Factor goes back to the first one. It's very strange.

Are you sure? StreamedMP installs Moving Pictures if you let it. Maybe your DLL got swapped and you didnt realize.

I'm beyond certain :) I had StreamedMP installed already, even updated the Moving Pictures DLL to 0.7.3 since the one that comes with the skin is 0.7.2. I then installed X-Factor and it does not install MovingPictures, so I'm still on 0.7.3.

I'll do some more testing tonight and let you know if I find anything.

Are you using different views? In list view it behaves fine, but thumb view and flimstrip view it does not.

I suspect this is indeed my issue, as I am using list view in StreamedMP and thumb view in X-Factor. I will test some more tonight.

This list view of X-Factor is just crappy tho :(

I agree. That's how I ended up stumbling onto the issue myself. ;)

Ah, that is almost certainly it. The last watched behavior for thumb and filmstrip view is fixed in the upcoming 0.8 release.
