Going from Rev 18981 to 19010, I have encountered several problems.

When playing back Recorded TV or My Videos, if I am fast forwarding x2 speed, I can hear the audio x2 as well. So everything sounds like the Chipmunks. This was never an issue before.

When playing back Recorded TV only, if I rewind 2x or more, and hit play, the file starts playing at the beginning of the file, no matter where you were in the show.

Both issues cannot reproduce here with current svn 19376, did have the chipmonk effect on 2x, but that has disappeared.

I've reverted to a more stable build for the time being but I'll be certain to check for it when my curiosity gets the better of me again...
Thanks for looking into it Ray

Hi I'm still able to reproduce the chipmonk effect on avi files played from My Videos, .ts files are working great! I have only tested theese two formats and only from My Videos. I attach my logs from when I was fastforwarding/rewinding in various speeds. The problem only occurs when fastforwarding at 2x.

h.264 Video Codec: n/a for this problem
    Satelite/CableTV Provider: Comcast

    Cooling: stock w/CPU and case

Question: Is anybody still experiencing the fast "chipmunk" audio when fast-forwarding video files at 2x speed using the new 1.0 RC2? I haven't upgraded yet, and basically I don't want to take the time to do so if that bug is still present. If it is, I'll probably dump MediaPortal entirely and use PyTivo to transcode my video files to my Tivo instead.

    bump.
Still happening to me. Using svn from sept 9th. Logs attached. I'm trying everything here, let me know what tests to do to debug.

Tried with ffdshow installed first, then only divx, then only xvid on an xvid video with vbr mp3 audio.
Replicating is easy. Go to My Videos, launch said video file, and press fast forward on the remote once. Audio plays at 2x and sounds like the chipmunks, video locks up. Pressing play, pause, stop, fast rewind, etc at this point freezes up mediaportal, and the only way to close it is by right clicking it in the windows taskbar and hitting close. Windows will ask if you're sure, because mp is not responding. Hit end now, and windows message pops up saying mediaportal has encountered an error and needed to be shut down, do you want to send a report to microsoft. Hit no and mp watchdog pops up.
