Rewind Problem in MediaPortal - Or is it just like that? (1 Viewer)

Ok I've just started using Media Portal. Just been trying it all out. Everything seems to work great.

If I am watching a recorded programme or timeshifting on live TV , when I fast forward (2x or 4x etc) the picture moves smoothly but in fast motion like how it normally works if you know what I mean.

However if i rewind (2x or 4x etc) the picture doesn't go back smoothly , it freezes and just the slider moves back.

Is it meant to be like this? Or any ideas why this would be? It hard to explain but hope you know what I mean

I have the same problem. MP 1.1 RC4.

I'm using Media Portal 1.10 RC6 and the CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD10)

Try a different codec, its what handles it.
