    Hi,

The RTSP streaming doesn't work to remote MediaPortal clients when the TV Server (HTPC) has been resumed from suspend. Locally on the "single seat" installation everything works as it should.

A restart of the TVService, when the HTPC has been resumed, solves the problem. The configurable re-initialization for the TVSevice has no effect.

This is not a new problem of MP 1.1.0 RC1 because I've seen the same problem before.

    Hello gunck4,
I confirm I also have this problem, that I already had on MP 1.0.2 and 1.0.1...
I've never found a workaround. Only restarting the TV service solve it.
It could be really cool to have a solution for this :)

Do you think we could try the new core.dll? It seems to solve a lot of different points.

AW: RTSP streaming doesn't work after sleep

the same here. local non-rtsp client is working, rtsp-clients not. for me even a tv-service restart is not working, only if i do one of these two things:

    1. full reboot of the pc
    2. change rtsp port and restart tv-service

it seems that the rtsp port is blocked and cannot be used anymore after wakeup.

I think I know what is wrong. This is probably caused by "Reinitialize TVService" PowerScheduler setting. Can you try to disable it and see if that fixes the problem?

I have the same problem and I dont use powerscheduler, I press the powerbutton which is configured to sleep mode instead of power off and the same when I start it back up.

I have this problem on the latest public SVN, I was going to try a clean RC1 to see if the problem went away. I have re-initialised TV-Service on but I have a NovaT-500 which doesn't work well without it. I'll see if I can have a play later (unless my bathroom re-decoration takes priority) and choose a DVB-S channel after resume with no re-initialise set.

Thanks arion_p, I tested it and it seems to work! :)
In fact I already tested it in the past but it causes "unable to start graph" error when trying to load a channel after a standby. But now, in the RC1, we have a new option in the tuner card property (MP server configuration) and I have changed the "preferred network provider" from "generic" to "DVBS".
And it's working. I can now uncheck the "Reinitialize TVService" PowerScheduler setting without having any more problem.
I will see if it continues to work fine these next days, with recording scheduled but I'm optimistic.
    Thanks again arion_p

    Thanks arion_p!

Taking that setting away did the trick. Hopefully my DVB-S adapter works without the reinitialization from now on..
