    and how do i run it?

    i normaly do a manualbackop..

    Think you are referring to the installation instructions inside the "MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot" threads.
    The snapshot installer is basically the file that you can download from the second post in every SVN Release Thread. It handles the installation of that particular SVN release. You can also see my summary of what is SVN if you are unsure.

    No problem with that. Good practice, then you know what you have and where it is :)
