I think that I read somewhere that you have to run MP under a user with admin privileges, right?
Is there a way to configure the system such that this is possible as a limited user?

Hi, I'm 1week newbie and immediately fan of MP, however I came to the same question yesterday. Any new answers here? From a first understanding the problem is just with writing privilegies - MP is installed in Program Files and writes its config and databases there and normal user has no write permission there. Problem arises when changing config etc. I plan to install MP to different folder and see what happens.
I have bad experiences in using admin rights always, you never know who attacks you from i-net, children make somethink etc.
