Hi there. I've had a look around here, but couldn't find any answers to my Problems.
The system I have (as posted above) is working but with the following limitations:
1. The Graphics card's WDM Hardware won't start if I have the TSP PSU in it. It has somthing to do with the +5V rail for the card. But I have tested it with a differnt PSU (OCZ 520) and discovered two other problems.
2. I can't seem to view any TV output correctly. I have a Composite cable going from the TV set-up to my HTPC. As a test I used Windows Movie Maker to try to record some TV output. I can see the preview, but it seems to be displaying the first frame it renders and then all the other frames merged in the first frame, so it's a flashing picture with the video stream running through it. However, when I record and then watch the recording all I see is green. So I'm lost at that point.
3. Media Portal and Ulead VideoStudio don't show any TV output. Well, I've tried to set-up the S-Video and Composite settings with Media Portal (channel set-up), but when I go to "My TV" it either gives me a message window saying "unable to start TV" (or along those lines), or it just shows me an empty message windows without any text in it and no picture in the video-box. If I then choose the custom channel that I made called "S-Video", or "Composite", it gives me the same message. If I try to press "TV on", I still get the same message.
so does anyone have an idea?
thanks.
oh and one other question: Meda Portal does support VGA cards with VIVO, right?
