Hello
Having trouble putting computer to standby S3 from mediaportal, this works great when MP is not running. Even from remote.
I open MP watch tv, turn of tv, goes to home menu, off button and standby.
I hear the hdd starts working, then i get the error lost connection to tv server.
Same scenario if i try with the remote and the powerscheduler

Any ideas?

    I had a very similar problem ages ago - sadly the only way I solved it was to do a complete XP Home re-install.

    Now it works absolutely fine.

    Sorry I can't offer any help that is easier.

    It is a great bit of software, so worth the effort in my opinion

    Works now

    Got it working now, found in the logs that there was an error regarding xmltv:

    2009-07-25 06:47:03.218750 [Powerscheduler Timer]: Exception :confused:ystem.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: The added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime.
    Parameter name: value
    at System.DateTime.AddTicks(Int64 value)
    at System.DateTime.Add(Double value, Int32 scale)
    at TvEngine.PowerScheduler.Handlers.XmlTvImportWakeupHandler.GetNextWakeupTime(DateTime earliestWakeupTime)
    at TvEngine.PowerScheduler.PowerScheduler.get_NextWakeupTime()
    at TvEngine.PowerScheduler.PowerScheduler.get_DisAllowShutdown()
    at TvEngine.PowerScheduler.PowerScheduler.CheckForStandby()
    at TvEngine.PowerScheduler.PowerScheduler.OnTimerElapsed(Object sender, ElapsedEventArgs e)

    I went into the xmltv plugin, remote setting and unmarked Scedule enable.

    Now the error is gone. Standby/resume now works.
