But the DXVA decoder seems not to use that setting, furthermore there are no such settings in ffdshow DXVA's setting window.
Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder) Hi all, I started using SAF5 a few weeks ago. Over all I'm really satisfied with it - so big thanks to Hoborg! :thx: All settings are set as suggested from Hoborg. So h264/x264 videos uses the ffdshow DXVA video decoder. AC3/DTS passthrough is working fine, CPU utilization is fine. The only issue is the picture is really dark. In ffdshow video decoder I'm able to modify the Output Levels and the gamma value. That's working for mpegs without any issues. But the DXVA decoder seems not to use that setting, furthermore there are no such settings in ffdshow DXVA's setting window. I can modify gamma in CCC (I use a HD3200), but that's not the perfect option, because it seems to be more an issue with the output levels. Is there any chance to set these levels? If not, can someone explain why? ;) edit: I just started a HD video inside MePo, but it shows no difference after changing the gamma setting in CCC. Attached you can find a part of the log file. I'm not really familiar with reading the logs, are there any issues or is it fine? Thanks for help! Neelex
