Re: SAF v5.01 *final* (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder) Hi, FYI - SAF5 appears to have a dependancy on a Windows Service(s). I had disabled a lot of Windows Services on my HTPC which I considered not required for running MP - one of which appears to cause the installation of SAF5 to not complete correctly i.e. during installing I see File Access denied errors for several files including d.bat in c:\T (which is created by your installation). When I set all my Windows Services which were Disabled to Manual the installation completes without error. Sorry, I don't know which service(s) is the culprit. On another note I get the odd dropped frame in MP 1.1.3 (when doing shift+1) when using SAF5. Its only very occasionally i.e. one dropped frame every 30mins or so. If I uninstall SAF5 and install the Shark007 codec pack I do not see any dropped frames. Any ideas where the problem could be? I am using Windows 7 64-bit with an Intel C2D 2.5GHz, AMD 5450 GPU, and bitsteaming audio to AMP. Cheers!
