SAF v6 and MKV files (1 Viewer)

Hi I have been having trouble with large mkv files and skip and fast forward in Mediaportal 1.2 using SAF v6 codec....

Basically it just wont do either..it freezes...even if left for 5 minutes...I can however press stop.

similar sized avi files work just fine and can be skipped or fast forwarded no problems


Using Mediaportal 1.2 beta
Moving Pictures 1.22

Using file : 10.9Gb Lord Of The Rings.mkv file (plays fine and skips/fast forwards using vlc player no worries)

Uhhh issue diagnosed : its my shonky mkv file...NOT the SAF codec

Thanks again to Hoborg who sorted it out by suggesting remuxing the file ...which promptly came back with a shedload of errors after 38% remuxing
