Re: AW: Re: AW: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF) So long, my experience with LAV audio decoder and bitstreaming Bitstreaming of DD, DTS, DD True HD and DTS HD MA works for playing Blurays with the LAV audio decoder in MP. However, using LAV audio for playing recorded TV files(DD) yields to a fast playback speed (like fast forwad) and audio is wrong. LiveTV with DD was not working at all with LAV audio. When MP is configured to use FFDShow Audio for TV and LAV audio for Files, I had the problem that there was no input signal on the receiver for TV, when a Bluray was played before with LAV. When I switch of the receiver and on again, FFDShow's audio was working again. Now, I use the Microsoft Audio decoder for TV and LAV for Files(Bluray Images), which is working. However yesterday I had the problem, that FFDShow Audio was used instead of LAV audio, albeit LAV was configured in MP. I increased the Merit for LAV audio and then it was working again. Why was the configured decoder not used? Since MP1.2B I often have the problem, that MP crashes when a Bluray Iso is started via Moving Pictures. I don't know yet, if it is a decoder, the BD handler or anything else. Does anyone have the same probem? Any hint, how to find out, what is crashing? Regards, --Alex
