[Videos] Save cursor position in long list (1 Viewer)

Hi,

it would be great if Mediaportal could remember last viewed video on each folder and automatically select this file when back on directory.

In huge series (like Naruto & Bleach for ex.) I must scroll through several pages to watch an episode in the middle after viewing another divx on a different directory.

Hope this idea could be added to Mediaportal 1

yeah sounds like a great idea!
maybe there should be option in the configuration like "save last used item in folder"

but could also be complicated e.g. if you use temporary devices like usb-flash-drives etc (because if you keep a history of all the paths and last used items in them it's getting a huge database)

Don't think it'll be so huge, let's take a simple example :
with 20 removable media and/or hard drive with 1000 directory on each (3 level of 10 directory for ex. - selecting a video file may take some time with this structure) database should remember 20000 filename with full path plus device id (1 file per folder).
Full paths are limited to 256 bytes, database would be 5MB only.

If all your videos are on hundreds of DVD I suggest you buy a hard drive
