This is a very odd bug that I have seen the results before but have usualy not had the log file to show for it.

This error has occured on four different pc's the log and specs are for this evening and one particular pc

When a schedule is chosen as 'everytime' and there is only one actual event availble for this schedule then the time and channel are used from when the schedule was initialy set up and not for the current event .When highlighting the event in the schedule epg the time and channel are also wrong.

The logs show it better .

The actual event was for BBC1 at 21.00-22.00 but took data for the very first time the scedule was set BBC3 at 22.25-23.00.

The resulting recording was BBC3 21.00-2200

Two of the same errors in the same evening, ideal for BUG CATCHING

The error is worse when the scheduled event can be shown on two or more different channels ie BBC1 and BBC3 for spooks.

Not so bad for FIFTH GEAR which only shows on one channel.

I've seen something similar that might be the same bug. I've got recordings on the right times, but on the same channel as the original recording. If I get any more of these, I'll post logs.

    This bug is still present.

If anyone has schedules set as 'everytime' please check what the date/channel is showing when you highlight the gui for the schedule.

Either the parent GUI icon when more than one schedule is present or just the icon when only one schedule event is present. It is important that the original set up date for the scedule was in the past and that at least one event has occured.

If the date is showing as a past date and/or the channel is wrong (when the event can occur on different channles) please post your details.

Also if an event has occured (MP has recorded the evenet) please post the log for this event as it will show where the data is incorrect.

Here is the bug again still with the latest SVN 11879.

The actual schedule was for ITV3 at 22:00 to 00:15 but the scedular chose channel:ITV1 from 21:00:00-23:00:00

This makes using the everytime on every channel option imposssible.

It would seem that the scedular is using an incorrect filed in the database and/or not clearing the field when no schedule is availble but the 'everytime schedule' is still setup.
