Can anyone explain why I can see 30+ items in the schedule table of the mysql db, but for some reason, MediaPortal only shows me the first 10 of them? It is getting very confusing, and as a result I have added multiple recordings of the same show because it didn't appear to be scheduled until I dug down further.

Also...it appears to not be recording these shows either!?

Help!!

    Hello again Danny

I'd like to be able to help you, but you've given me essentially nothing to go on. Therefore I currently can't help.

I can't offer any explanation when I don't have the ability to look at your DB contents and compare with what MediaPortal shows you.
Honestly, even if I did have that information, I think it might be more constructive for you to explain the situation that is causing you to examine the DB contents in the first place. After all, nobody should have to care about the technical implementation details of MediaPortal's recording/scheduling function [edit: ...in order to successfully schedule and record stuff].

Also...it appears to not be recording these shows either!?
Again, I can't offer any explanation without a specific example:
    • date/time
    • channel name
    • program name
    • full TV Server log files for the corresponding period

    Situation...

    - I thought I added show X to the schedule to record everytime on a certain channel
    - In MediaPortal I go to TV->scheduled and see that it is NOT there, so I add it again
    - It still does not show up in the schedule...so I add it again
    - It still does notmshow up, so I look at the DB, and now show X is there three times...doesn't show in MediaPortal at all. (Default titan skin)

So, I finally had time to track this down. I don't know how it happened, but I basically compared the list being shown in the UI with the list in the SCHEDULE table, and deleted the row from the DB that was not being displayed in the UI, and suddenly, all other rows started showing, and everything (including the actual recording schedule) started working again. I am not sure what was wrong with that schedule item, but oh well, at least things are working now.
