Scheduled recording doesn't always work (1 Viewer)

When I schedule MediaPortal to record a TV program it doesn't always do this. After scheduling the recording I minimize MediaPortal so that it sits in the system tray. I then often will hibernate the computer although I sometimes will leave the computer on if the show that I want to record is coming on shortly. Either way, I've noticed that MediaPortal will sometimes record the show but sometimes won't. I can't detect any rhyme nor reason to MediaPortal's behavior in this regard. What do I need to do to get MediaPortal to behave consistently and record everything that's scheduled? I'm using MediaPortal 1.1.0.0 on a Windows XP computer.
