Scheduled Recordings not starting (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I had NCIS scheduled at 8.30PM with a 5 minute pre-record and it didnt start. In the logs at 8.25PM it couldn't start.

Im on version 1.1.1

If I restart the TV Server the show starts recording half way through.

I am using Power Scheduler to help sleep when not in use but it also is flakey.

Can someone tell me from the logs if they can diagnose the problems

Does it only fail if the machine has woken up from standby? If so, it sounds like an issue with the tuner not surviving standby/resume cycle. There are various settings in the TV Server setup and PowerScheduler plugin to try to get round these problems ("apply workarounds", "restart server on resume", delay before detecting cards). Some tuners don't like resuming from standby (USB ones tend to be worse than internal ones). If it's a USB tuner, could be worth using the MCE Standby Tool to make sure all the necessary standby settings are set properly (extra-important for S3 standby).

On the other hand, I had a very similar problem recently where the tuner just stopped working after resume (it had worked fine for months then suddenly didn't work). I tried all sorts of things to fix the problem, then eventually cured it by updating the tuner card's driver.
