I tried the XMLTV route but it didn't give me the description that I wanted, and the asterisk just seemed misplaced on the guide for new episodes. I went back to the SD plugin because of the ease of setup (I don't like working with scripts and batch files directly), and it does all I need to do with OTA (excellent WAF rating!).
