i just did a full clean new install of my complete system with RC2 and following system specs:

- win7
- mp 1.1 rc2 single seat
- tvmovie epg with integrated importer plugin
- maya skin

the epg is looking fine after an import, and scheduling a "normal" recording (onece on a specific day) is working as expected. i can see the schedule marked red in the epg and in the timerlist the schedule title and day. so far so good

but if i schedule a series with option "weekly to this time" the red epg marking and the timerlist is exactly 24 hours too late. for example: i scheduled a show ("tatort") on sunday 20:15 and i can see the show marked red on monday 20:15 and in the timerlist i can see also this wrong title. if i look in the tv-server config directly i can see that the schedules are correct, so i think there is a bug in the tvplugin.

could you please confirm this issue? thanks!

hi,

i just found out that even with ipimp and other mp clients like gemx' webservices and the mp webinterface its working correctly, so the problem should really be on the mp client or tvplugin side. could any developr confirm this please? its really annoying, i cant use the tvplugin in the client with this bug. thanks!

update: just testet it with onother mp client on another pc connecting to the same tv-server -> same problem -> its not a local problem with my client installation.

I cannot reproduce the issue, sorry...
Can you try using the Blue3 skin. In your logs I see some errors the may be due to the skin and may affect the code that creates the schedule.

Other things to try:

• Restart TV Service. The program states may have been messed up, restarting will reevaluate.
• Export existing schedules. Clear all schedules, and then try again. There may be existing schedules that conflict or in other ways prevent the new one from being created. If that solves the issue post the exported schedules here so we can check if there is a bug or it is expected behavior.

i already did all your proposals with no luck. i even installed my htpc completly new with windows and mediaportal rc2 from scratch, created complete new scheduls, but this error is always there. i dont know what i could do now

ok i have an update after some more testing:

with mp client 1.1 rc1 and tvserver rc2 installed its working and the "timer" is shown correct, with mp client rc2 and tvserver rc2 not. the red marking in the epg is with both versions one day too late. i think this is definitly a bug and has to do with changes in http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=2701

OK, I probably don't understand what you are doing, so let's take it from the top.

How do you add the new schedule? Through TV Guide or through Scheduled recordings?
Where does the schedule show wrong?

• Everywhere?
• In TV Guide?
  • Single channel view or plan view?
• In Scheduled recordings?
  • Series or flat view?

hi arion,

i create new schedules through the tvguide:

- i select a show -> i can see the right upcoming episodes
- i click on "advanced record" -> option 4 "record every week at this time" -> the upcoming episodes changed, i now can see the right ones and another show one day later scheduled too
- i go back to tvguide -> the scheduled show is not marked red, but the not scheduled show exactly one day later is marked red
- i go to schedules -> i cannot see the scheduled show, only the not scheduled show exactly one day later
- i close mp client and open tvserver config -> in the schedules section the right show is scheduled and its recorded as expected

From the info so far I have no idea what's going on. I cannot reproduce your issue no matter what I try.
Try to do the following, perhaps it will give us a hint:

1. Make sure there are no schedules. Also make sure that the EPG has been updated and is not updating at the time of the test.
2. If MediaPortal is running exit. Stop and restart TV Service
3. Run "MediaPortal Debug Mode"
4. Go to TV Guide, select the program you want to record and press OK
5. Grab a screen-shot, then select advanced record, then every week at this time and another screen-shot
6. Exit MediaPortal.
7. Post here the 2 screen shots and the logs gathered by LogCollector.
