Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to record as much DVB streams as you want without it being unlocked, decoded, decrypted etc., so this can be done at a later stage.

So if you only have one DVB card, record channels on different transponders, scrambled. Only when you want to watch these scrambled recordings, you send these recordings through the CAM module to decrypt.

Or am I talking nonsence here...Is it in theory possible to record different transponders with one tv card and decode/decrypt/decypher/descramble at a later stage?

you cannot tune to different transponders at the same time, so: no. this would only be useful for same-transponder-recordings, which some CAM (e.g. alphacrypt) can do already.
