Screen saver kicks in during music playback - (1 Viewer)

Whilst listning to music the screen saver kicks in...
This also hapns when i have a visulisation runing..

Iam running in full screen mode.. is ther a way to stop the SS from kicking in when media portal is running..

Why would you have a screensaver enabled on a htpc, in fact unless using 4therecord 1.3, all windows power settings need to be disabled.

The screen saver is required as this is more than HTPC, and other people use this for surfing etc...

is it possible for MP to override a screensaver..?

I agree. From doing a lengthy search the screen saver issue in MP has been noted and complained about since 2005.

I have no idea why the developers would want the screen saver enabled in MP while people are watching movies.

My HTPC is mainly for that purpose, but also is used for other things. Given I am using a plasma, I dont want any chance of burn-in and need a screen saver when I am not watching movies/tv.

Please dev's consider fixing this serious issue.
