Hi,

I'm not sure if MP is able to do this or not but been searching the forum and testing a few options but don't seem to be able to get it to work.

Basically I am trying to get the screensaver to work, because I have a screensaver which plays video clips of Fireplaces and Aquariums.

I am using MP 0.2.0.0 + Latest SVN's however I have been unable to get the screensaver to work in MP. I can get the blankscreen to work but when I try to use the windows screensaver it tries to load but MP appears to fight it and appear on top. So disabled the On-top function of MP and it works but I get the screen saver but I can't get back to MP as the remote loses focus with MP.

I just wondered if anyone else had encountered a similar problem or could explain how they get there screensaver to work and the settings the have.

Any help would be great

Thanks

Jay

I use MultiShortcut to call the screensaver. It is (mostly) non problematic.

Hi,

Thanks for that NLS. I've downloaded and installed it. Just wondered if you could help a bit with the settings for the screensaver. How have you go it configured?

Thanks for any help you can give

I am not sure if it works ok with SVN.

Anyway, here is the rough guide:

- You rename a copy of the DLL to the name you want, for example MP-SSaver.dll.

- You go in MP config and find plugin MP-SSaver.

- Configure it... the fields are strightforward... I don't have it here but I remember you give the full path to the executable (in your case the .scr file), you give the work path (where the .scr is), you can give the button a name (like "Screen Saver") and you play with the minimize (or how it is called) option to see what suits you.

- You hope it plays.
