Screensaver Turns On After Full Screen Video? (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 0.2.3.0
MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo
Windows Version: Windows XP Pro

I'm running Media Portal 0.2.3.0 in fullscreen mode and I play a full screen video. After the show finishes the screensaver turns on right away and then goes away after I press a button on my mce remote. I have the screensaver set to turn on after 15min of inactivity in the display panel in windows. It didn't always do this. Possibly (I'm guessing) something changed after I tried a 1.0 beta and then downgraded again back to 0.2.3.0? I had to redo all the settings, maybe there is something I missed? I looked and I'm not seeing anything obvious.

Anybody know how to fix this? Is it a registry setting I need to change or a file that needs replacing?

Hi Bill.

Take the time it takes to upgrade to Mp1.0 I'm sure it will solve your problem.

I did and I downgraded back to .2.3

Everytime I upgrade it breaks everything I have setup. I'm not about to re-spend all those hours making all the right codecs and modules work properly.

Also, I don't know why all this valuable screen real estate is being wasted on unecessary icons and bulky dialog boxes...it's a real disappointment for someone with a SDTV...the priority should be on listing long filenames with large font sizes so they can be readable; without one pixel being wasted...ANYWAYS...

For those that are curious, the problem was solved by turning dx9 exclusive mode on. I'm guessing without this turned on windows doesn't know when video is being played or not.
