Scrolling titles faster makes it crash (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, I really like this plugin and it's a great piece of work.

I use W7 + 1.1.0 and your release from june.
I have about 1000 titles in 4 directories (1 holds about 700).

The only problem that I have is that when I scroll down the titles
too fast (not too fast tough!) using the remote, the interface (graphics) will
kind of crash; the display becomes fuzzy but the software continues to respond
as I can still scroll the titles but they are being showed oversized
with a fuzzy background. There is no readable text at that point.

Generally the interface is fast and I think the problem comes
from the loading of the background picture. As we scroll faster, it
doesn't always refresh, skipping titles, until we scroll slower and there
it updates again. I guess this behavior is all right but I think it does not
really like the faster scrolling for some reasons.

I am note sure what other details I can provide you, if you need
me to perform a specific test I'll be glad to help.

Thanks !

I wonder if there is a way to add a page down function to the remote. This may help scrolling huge amounts faster and not cause this issue?

There already is. I've remapped the Channel +/- button on my ATi Remote Wonder to do just that, as they don't serve any purpose when I'm using MP-TVSeries or MovingPictures.

Unfortunatly my wife is hogging HTPC, so I can only open the ATIX10.xml custom map file, and it seems I added 6 seperate conditions for the Channel +/- button, as MediaPortal allows you awesome control and you can reuse a button for other stuff depending on conditions. I'll refrain from pasting those, because they will most likely add to your confusion, but just read the wiki/manual then on how to do it.

You can even target the MovingPictures ID (which = 96742) specifically (this does require manual editing the XML file until MediaPortal gets updated), so that you can re-assign different functions to all your buttons when you are using MovingPictures.

This thread for example explains how you can launch MovingPictures plugin directly from a button on your remote: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ctures-via-mce-remote-my-videos-button-56008/
