Since installing MP 1.1.0 Beta 1 I have a strange issue with HD channels:
When tuning a HD channel, MP shows "Cannot start timeshifting. No signal". If I then select the HD channel again, it is tuned just fine. With my previous installation (1.0.1) it worked perfectly and I haven't chaned anything but MediaPortal.
The use case of the attached logs is as follows:
1. Start TV with a SD channel
2. Try to tune to a HD channel by pressing "45" on the remote (the channel numer of "Das Erste HD")
3. MP shows a black screen and the info "Cannot start timeshifting. No signal"
4. Press "45" again on the remote
5. Now the HD channel "Das Erste HD" tunes just fine
6. Enter channel number "1" for "Das Erste" SD channel
7. MP again shows "Cannot start timeshifting. No signal"
8. Press "1" again and the SD channel tunes just fine
9. Tune to any other SD channel and it tunes fine until you reach a HD channel again
Are I am the only one who is experiencing this issue or is this a known bug of the Beta 1? I haven't found any other report in the forums... Please let me know.
02.11.2009 Update:
After the discussion in this thread, many users have confirmed this bug as a transponder change isse. That means if a channel change also changes the transponder, then the channel change is not successful. Mostly, a second attempt to change the channel will work.
04.11.2009 Update 2:
Thanks to morpheus_xx, this issue will be fixed in next public SVN.
Many thanks to all who contributed in this thread
